How to get to West Aswan?

From Cairo: by train or by airplane.

From Luxor: by train: in ca 3,5 hour you’ll arrive in Aswan centre. It’s also possible to travel by
car, but tourists need to reach their destination before sunset.

From Aswan:
Opposite the street of the railway station the ferry to the West bank is leaving every 20 min.
Ask for the ferry to Gharb (= West) Aswan or to the Tombs of the Nobles. The ferry brings you in 15 min. to the other side. There you walk to the right untill you will see the first row of houses
(5 min). In the middle of the first row you will find the guesthouse

We arrange transfers from Aswan
railway station and Aswan airport on request.
Price for guidance and transfer € 28 (1-4 persons).
We also arrange
transfers from Luxor to Aswan.

From the guesthouse to Aswan in 20 min:
The last ferry leaves from Aswan to the West bank 10.30 pm and starts 6 am. The last ferry from the West bank to the centre leaves 10 pm.
It's possible to pay a little more (about 3 Euro) to the captain to bring you to the other side at other moments as well.
